Software Engineer - Java, SQL

We are looking for a talented Middle Java Software Engineer to join our team for an exciting internal project focused on implementing new features in our transactional systems that manage records stored in a database.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with engineers across different teams to integrate services and create SQL queries to extract relevant datasets and summarize findings. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment that values innovation and creativity.

responsibilities
  • Implement new features in existing transactional systems that manage records stored in a database
    • Deprecate and remove existing features that are no longer used
      • Work with engineers across different teams to integrate services
        • Create SQL queries to extract relevant datasets and summarize findings
          requirements
          • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java software development
            • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
              • Strong experience in SQL for querying and manipulating data
                • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
                  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
                    nice to have
                    • Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks
                      • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
