Senior Systems Engineer (AWS, DevOps)

In the role of a DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in proposing, prototyping, designing, and implementing various fundamental components of the Pricing platform.

This will be achieved in collaboration with diverse teams located around the globe. As a senior member, you will be expected to provide thought leadership and technical expertise necessary to tackle challenging problems. Your experience will include building and supporting vital components of products/platforms on a large scale.

Responsibilities

Development of scalable and high-performance distributed systems, ensuring availability, observability, and resiliency
Refinement and construction of end-to-end architecture for development, deployment, testing, monitoring, and support on the AWS platform
Participation in resolving production issues and leading efforts towards solutions
Contribution to relentless rewriting, refactoring, and perfecting of code

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in leading technical designs, mentoring developers, and influencing engineering maturity
A problem solver and an exceptional engineer with profound understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, and CI/CD
Passion for work quality, demonstrating persistence and strong principles
Strong belief in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Chef, etc.
Programming experience in one or more languages: Scala, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go, etc.
Experience in solving distributed computing problems and working with synchronous and asynchronous services in a microservices/distributed architecture platform
