Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce QA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team in India.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in Salesforce environments to develop testing strategies, execute test cases, and ensure that our Salesforce.com implementations meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Define automation testing strategies and tooling to implement in a Salesforce environment
Lead QA efforts by designing tests, debugging, and determining corrective actions, along with tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures across both manual and automated testing processes
Ensure quality assurance by establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and creating new tools and processes to meet quality goals
Document software defects using bug tracking systems and communicate defects to developers
Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on functional requirements, system designs, timelines, and potential challenges

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
3+ years of experience testing Salesforce.com applications
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform best practices, functionality, and configuration
Familiarity with Experience Cloud (70% focus) and Sales Cloud (30% focus), with priority on heavily customized Experience Cloud
Expertise in automated testing tools such as Selenium or Provar
Salesforce certifications like Certified Administrator or Certified Platform Developer preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
