Senior Sitecore Test Engineer

We are in search of a Senior Sitecore Test Engineer to join our team.

This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality of our Sitecore CMS and web-based front-end applications. As the sole QA in the team, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance from planning and strategy, to test execution and tool management, all while coordinating closely with developers, business analysts and overseas clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scenarios aligned with business requirements
Undertake various types of testing including Positive/Negative, Black Box, Configuration, Data-Driven, UAT, Unit, End-to-end, System and Regression Testing
Perform functional testing across multiple browsers and devices leveraging tools akin to BrowserStack
Define and maintain Test scripts while enhancing Test plans and Test cases
Analyze test results and lead defect reporting through Azure DevOps
Convey daily updates and participate in Triage Calls with customers
Engage with business analysts, developers and co-testers to resolve testing-related issues and understand requirements
Prepare and understand Test Metrics documents for reporting status and progress
Adapt working hours to align with the EST/CST time zones for effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

5-8 years of experience as a Manual QA professional
Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS and front-end manual testing based on Agile Methodology
Proficiency in creating test cases and managing all Quality Assurance functions including planning, strategy and testing execution
Capability to work independently without supervision
Competency in Sitecore CMS testing using Page Editor and components
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps
Flexibility to work with any automation framework
Skills in executing test scripts and verifying & analyzing results
Solid understanding of Test Metrics documentation and reporting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with BA/developers, co-testers and customers during daily and triage calls
