Senior Platform Engineer - Golang

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer - Golang to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of features, enhance system performance, and contribute to the overall success of our products.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems using Golang
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and enhance system performance
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS using containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and coding standards
Contribute to the development of infrastructure-related tools and applications
Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of our systems through effective monitoring, alerting, and testing
Implement security best practices in the context of infrastructure and application deployment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Golang programming for developing infrastructure-related tools and applications
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying and scaling applications
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols for building and maintaining reliable and scalable systems
Knowledge of security best practices in the context of infrastructure and application deployment
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform for managing infrastructure
Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
