We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Kaggle team, where they will play a pivotal role in overseeing the publication and maintenance of machine learning and large language models (LLM).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science and machine learning and experience with large language models.

Responsibilities

Publish machine learning and LLM models on Kaggle through APIs/manual methods
Develop educational content such as step-by-step tutorials and interactive notebooks
Collaborate on metrics and enhance the model publishing process
Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning models
Evaluate and select models for publication based on performance and impact
Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to refine the publishing process
Monitor and adjust the performance of published models to meet user needs
Mentor junior data scientists and lead project teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, and Transformers
Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Passionate about data science with a keen interest in continuous learning and development
Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning models
Familiarity with API development and model deployment
Experience in handling large datasets and computational resources
Ability to document and explain complex models to non-expert stakeholders
Experience in developing and maintaining project timelines and deliverables

Nice to have

Previous experience using Kaggle for competitions, dataset exploration, or model engagement
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
