We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Scientist for our Kaggle team, who will be crucial in managing the publication and upkeep of machine learning and large language models (LLM).

The preferred candidate should possess a solid foundation in data science and machine learning, along with experience in handling large language models.

Responsibilities

Publish machine learning and LLM models on Kaggle via APIs or manual methods
Create educational materials such as detailed tutorials and interactive notebooks
Work together on metrics and improve the model publishing workflow
Keep abreast of new developments in machine learning models
Assess and choose models for publication based on their performance and impact
Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the publishing workflow
Track and optimize the performance of published models to satisfy user requirements
Guide junior data scientists and head project teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, and Transformers
Background in natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
Passion for data science with a strong desire for ongoing learning and development
Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning models
Understanding of API development and model deployment
Experience in managing large datasets and computational resources
Capability to document and clarify complex models to non-expert stakeholders
Experience in planning and maintaining project timelines and deliverables

Nice to have

Prior experience with Kaggle for competitions, dataset exploration, or model engagement
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
