We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to enhance our Kaggle team by leading the publication and management of machine learning and large language models (LLM).

The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in data science and machine learning, along with experience in large language models.

Responsibilities

Publish machine learning and LLM models on Kaggle using APIs or manual methods
Create educational material like step-by-step guides and interactive notebooks
Work collaboratively on metrics and improve the model publishing workflow
Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning models
Assess and choose models for publication based on their performance and impact
Interact with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the publishing workflow
Track and optimize the performance of published models to align with user requirements
Guide junior data scientists and spearhead project teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, and Transformers
Background in natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong passion for data science with a deep interest in ongoing learning and development
Track record of successful deployment of machine learning models
Understanding of API development and model deployment
Background in managing large datasets and computational resources
Ability to document and articulate complex models to non-expert stakeholders
Experience in planning and managing project timelines and deliverables

Previous involvement with Kaggle for competitions, dataset exploration, or model engagement
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
