We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Cloud GCP Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. If you have a strong background in cloud technologies and a passion for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our cloud-based initiatives.

Responsibilities

Ensure fault-tolerance, high-availability, scalability, and security on Google Cloud Infrastructure and Platform
Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated build and test systems
Handle production deployment using multiple deployment strategies
Automate the Google Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Deployment with Infrastructure as a Code
Automate system configurations using configuration management tools
Implement Microservices concepts and best practices
Enable application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
Address issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
Carry out POCs to make sure suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
Learn services used in the environment quickly

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in production on public cloud environment
Background in Security and networks
Proficiency in GCP Services including Compute, Storage, and Data tools
Expertise in GCP Networking fundamentals like VPC, VPN, Peering, and Interconnect
Understanding of GCP Security fundamentals including IAM, Service Accounts, Workload Identity
Skills in container orchestration and container registry management
Experience setting up Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, databases, and firewall rules
Competency in Backup and Recovery methodology implementation on GCP
Command in Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform
Qualifications in Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Packer, Salt, Chef, or Puppet
Knowledge in Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Circle CI
Familiarity with Cloud Migration/Modernization using GCP tools and native methods
Capability to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership in the GCP landscape

Nice to have

Skills in coding with modern languages like Python, Groovy
