We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a deep understanding of the insurance domain to join our team.

The ideal candidate will excel in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and agile methodologies while driving the success of complex projects from discovery to production.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of requirements gathering sessions, analysis, and workshops with senior stakeholders
Navigate API documentation, map attributes, and provide heatmaps or derive actionable requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage priorities and deliverables with transparency
Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
Write comprehensive user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria
Participate actively in Scrum projects and lead events such as product backlog refinement, grooming sessions, and Program Increments (PI) when required
Deliver expert-level requirements elicitation, documentation, and management
Utilize tools like Azure or Jira for project tracking and management
Apply high-level understanding of modern technologies to align business and IT strategies
Support insurance product development lifecycle activities and ensure their successful completion
Contribute to business development efforts to identify and execute growth opportunities

Requirements

7+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in business analysis
Experience working through the full project lifecycle, from discovery to production
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Expertise in writing BRD, FRD, and user stories in Gherkin format
Understanding of tools like Azure and Jira and proficiency in DevOps, Microsoft Visio, and Dynamics 365
Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance domain processes and product development lifecycle
Experience with Scrum project frameworks and agile methodologies
Familiarity with delivering business solutions using modern technologies

Nice to have

Background in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles with 1+ year of experience
