Senior Business Analyst - Database

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a robust technical background and significant experience in business analysis, particularly in the FinTech Big Data domain.

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering our new product, QAC Distribution, which transfers data from a Relational Master Database to varied non-relational targets. The key responsibility will be analyzing and validating data requirements, ensuring they meet the project's delivery criteria.

Responsibilities

Work with inputs from a set of Stakeholders and transform that into requirements for development teams
Lead requirements communications to gain a clear understanding of the scope of work
Cooperate with all possible parties (dev, qa, tech support, product team, ops team, etc.) to get the needed answers
Find practical communication approaches to make the whole way of getting information efficient and timely
Create user stories and own the project backlog. Keep Jira Backlog organized and clear
Conduct backlog grooming sessions to refine the requirements with teams
Create the BA documentation for the overall project
Define, Coordinate and Educate project members on the process of working with requirements to keep the project information up to date
Define and manage requirements dependencies

Requirements

6 to 10 years of experience is required
Technical background is a must (knowledge of working with DBs)
High expertise in conducting the Discovery of new product
High level of Ownership and Accountability for project success
Strong Analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in mixed teams that may include not only EPAM colleagues but also client’s engineers and managers as well as third-party vendors
Solid communication skills
Strong English (B2+)
Ability to gain a result in an uncertain environment
High self-organizing skill
