Responsibilities
- As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform.
- You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring that the code is unit-tested for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
Requirements
- We are looking for an Android Developer with at least 5 to 8 years of experience.
- The ideal candidate should be experienced in developing native Android applications and have a strong understanding of Java SDK design functionality, including the full activity lifecycle.
- Knowledge in Kotlin, Androidx, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK, Dagger
- Experience with Android components, including Google Volley framework and Retrofit for handling webservices
- Proficient in UI design elements, dynamic screen building, and a strong knowledge of almost all view components
- Experience in architectural patterns like MVC, MVP, and MVVM
- Strong knowledge of database handling with SQLite and Room DB, as well as Shared Preferences, Google Material design, broadcast receivers, and adapter views
- Experience in implementing Firebase, as well as hands-on experience with tools like SVN, GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins
- Ability to unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Experience in bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
