Responsibilities

Install, configure, and manage Oracle GoldenGate for effective data replication
Build and implement replication topologies for Oracle to Sybase databases, with a preference for heterogeneous environments
Monitor trail files, conduct performance tuning, and apply data filtering and transformation methods
Diagnose and resolve replication processes to maintain system availability
Enhance replication strategies to improve system performance and reliability
Collaborate with database administrators and application teams to uphold data integrity

Requirements

6-10 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate administration, replication, and troubleshooting
Background in Oracle and Sybase databases
Skills in working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred)
Expertise in replication topology design, trail file oversight, and performance tuning
Competency in managing database replication across various platforms and handling large-scale systems

Nice to have

Familiarity with database replication processes based in cloud environments
Understanding of high-availability frameworks and failover mechanisms
