Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate to manage data replication
Create and implement replication topologies for Oracle to Sybase databases, focusing on heterogeneity when applicable
Handle trail files, performance tuning, data filtering, and transformations effectively
Monitor and resolve issues in replication processes to maintain high availability
Enhance replication strategies to maximize performance and reliability
Collaborate with database administrators and application teams to maintain data integrity

Requirements

6-10 years of experience working in Oracle GoldenGate administration, replication, and troubleshooting
Background in Oracle and Sybase databases
Skills in utilizing cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred)
Competency in designing replication topologies, managing trail files, and performance tuning
Flexibility to work across various platforms and manage large-scale database replication

Nice to have

Background in cloud-based database replication and integration strategies
Understanding of high-availability architecture and failover protocols
