We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Security Systems Engineer to join our motivated team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Forgerock Identity and Access Management solutions to enhance our security infrastructure. This role entails direct engagement with client requirements, designing optimal security solutions, and ensuring robust IAM deployments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver services directly on IAM ForgeRock engagements
  • Gather requirements and develop use cases
  • Create, validate, and justify security solutions and designs in line with client objectives and best practices
  • Install, integrate, configure, and deploy IAM solutions and systems to support various management functionalities
  • Transcribe and present technical information to both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Develop and execute test cases and plans for IAM solutions
  • Respond to escalations
  • Perform code reviews and assess other team members' reviews
  • Design and implement ForgeRock Identity Management (OpenIDM) solutions
  • Configure and manage ForgeRock Access Management (OpenAM)
  • Maintain ForgeRock Directory Services (OpenDJ)
  • Utilize the ForgeRock Backstage Portal for support and documentation
  • Develop custom scripts and connectors for integrated systems
  • Monitor system performances and conduct audits
  • Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and manage system updates
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot ForgeRock-related issues
  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management using ForgeRock IAM suite, including OpenIDM, OpenAM, and OpenDJ
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support requests independently
  • Experience with admin/support tasks in Linux (Redhat) and Windows OS, including Tomcat
  • Capability to write basic Linux shell and Windows PowerShell scripts
  • Background in working within ITSM environments using tools like ServiceNow
  • Experience in Controlled Change Management/Deployment environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Shell
  • Understanding of LDAP, SSO, OAuth, SAML, and RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with directory services concepts and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Nice to have
  • Advanced scripting capabilities with Shell or PowerShell
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Proven track record of optimizing IAM deployments
