We are seeking a resourceful and dedicated Sponsored Event Coordinator to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing events that are sponsored by our company or in which our company participates as a sponsor. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors to ensure successful event outcomes that align with our brand and sponsorship objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic event plans in alignment with company sponsorship goals and branding.
- Coordinate with internal departments to incorporate company branding, messaging, and objectives into event activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to facilitate smooth planning and execution of events.
- Manage sponsorship budgets, negotiate contracts, and handle invoicing and payment processes with vendors.
- Oversee event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, staffing, transportation, and accommodations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety obligations, and that all sponsored events meet relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Create and distribute event materials such as sponsorship packets, marketing collateral, and promotional items.
- Track event performance, including attendee engagement and ROI, and prepare post-event analysis and reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate the promotion of sponsored events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships.
- Be present at events to oversee activities, manage staff, and ensure the event runs smoothly and professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a sponsored events role, with a strong understanding of brand management and sponsorship activation
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Comfortable with public speaking and able to represent the company in a professional manner.
- Proficient with event management software as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
