Lead Systems Engineer (Cloud AWS)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Systems Engineer (Cloud AWS) to become a part of our team.
This role focuses on automation, scalability, and microservices, playing a crucial role in enhancing our AWS-based solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS Infrastructure with a focus on fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, and security
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with automated build and test systems
- Supervise production deployments using various deployment strategies
- Drive automation for AWS infrastructure and platform deployment via Infrastructure as Code
- Streamline system configurations through configuration management tools
- Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to facilitate application development
- Proactively tackle issues and continuously improve processes
- Execute POCs to validate design and technology choices
- Swiftly adapt to and master new services within the environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, including 5 years in cloud and DevOps roles
- Hands-on experience in production with Linux or Windows system engineering
- Expertise in AWS compute, storage, security, network, and observability services
- Advanced skills in automation using AWS orchestration tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Deep knowledge and implementation of microservices concepts and best practices
Nice to have
- Understanding of Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes on AWS EKS or ECS
- Experience with AWS database services such as AWS RDS, Cache, Read Replicas, DynamoDB
- Scripting skills in Linux/shell/Python/Windows PowerShell or experience with configuration management tools like Ansible/Chef/Puppet
