We are searching for an adept Lead System Engineer with a specialization in Microsoft Azure to be part of our dynamic team.
As a principal technical leader, you will propel the design, implementation, and enhancement of cloud solutions, ensuring fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, and security. This role demands hands-on knowledge in Azure infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation, paired with a fervor for innovation and continuous advancement.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain Azure infrastructure to ensure fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, and security
- Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines with automated build and test systems
- Supervise production deployments using multiple deployment strategies
- Implement automation of Azure infrastructure and platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Automate system configurations with configuration management tools
- Apply microservices architecture concepts and best practices
- Liaise with application development teams to synchronize requirements, schedules, and activities
- Execute proofs of concept (POCs) to assess the feasibility of proposed designs and technologies
- Diagnose and rectify system issues, proactively tackling challenges with a continuous improvement mindset
- Adapt swiftly to new services and technologies utilized in the environment
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of background in Azure Cloud environments
- Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD tools and practices
- Strong background in Linux and Windows Administration
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, and Unix scripting
- Knowledge of YAML scripting and ARM templates
- Proficiency in Terraform modules for infrastructure automation
- Hands-on familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices
- Background in automating infrastructure and platform deployments with IaC tools
- Proven capability to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- B2+ English proficiency level
