Lead Java Fullstack Developer – Java 8, React JS/Vue/Typescript

We are on the lookout for a Lead Java Fullstack Developer who is adept in Java 8, and highly skilled with frontend technologies such as React JS, or TypeScript.

This individual will work with an international team of engineers, developing software solutions that drive business value, ensure quality, and minimize technical debt. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both backend and frontend development, leveraging their extensive experience to design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient software systems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to coding efforts within project teams, while clearly communicating vital information
Conduct code reviews and establish code quality standards
Develop and document software designs focusing on usability, stability, performance, and reusability
Engage in all phases of software development, including design, development, testing automation, and deployment pipeline tasks
Provide advanced debugging support within the project team to resolve development and production issues
Keep abreast of market trends and emerging technologies to refine our software solutions approach
Enforce strict deliverable expectations, ensuring all deliverables are self-certified before transitioning to QA teams and customers
Uphold and practice strong communication and interaction within multi-disciplinary teams
Stay current on new techniques and tools that could enhance workflow processes

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, REST, and experience with microservices
4+ years of proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Demonstrated capability in managing databases such as PostgreSQL
Background in cloud architecture solutions and containerized environments utilizing AWS cloud, Docker, or similar technologies
Qualifications in automating test cases and deployment pipelines
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe)
Competency in utilizing development tools such as Checkstyle, SonarQube, Blackduck

Nice to have

Integration experience with Azure directory
Experience with authentication/authorization frameworks & protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP, SAML
