We are seeking a highly skilled remote Lead Java Developer to join our Agile development team and deliver core features in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
Lead and mentor the development team to ensure quality delivery of core features
Manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and deployment
Ensure the adherence of the team to Agile software development practices and department quality standards
Implement modern engineering and DevOps practices, continuous integration, and delivery
Create and implement automated testing techniques to enhance software quality
Ensure the scalability and performance of software solutions by optimizing the code and infrastructure

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
1+ years of team leading experience
Proven experience in Java 8, SQL, REST API, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Java Microservice Infrastructure, and DevOps
Strong understanding of modern engineering and DevOps practices, continuous integration, and delivery
Experience in Agile software development practices and good communication skills
Diligent use of unit and acceptance testing, experience with automated testing techniques
Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level

Nice to have

Experience in using microservices, SOA, and/or integration solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen aptitude for technology
