We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our client, a prominent Wealth Management firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate as a Senior Developer in a cross-functional Scrum team, working on a business capability POD. With over 6 years of relevant work experience, including 1+ year of leadership experience, you will play a crucial role in the team's success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain code to meet project requirements
  • Build back-end microservices and REST APIs to support business functionalities
  • Perform unit testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the developed software
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Follow established practices such as code review, unit testing, continuous integration, and other software development methodologies
  • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to estimation and planning sessions to ensure successful project execution
  • Mentor and guide other developers, fostering their growth and collaboration within the team
Requirements
  • 6+ years of development work experience
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field; Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus
  • Hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Framework
  • Good knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture
  • Financial Services background in wealth management is not mandatory but considered a plus
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Jenkins
  • Comfortable working with different databases such as DB2 and MongoDB
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining APIs
  • B2+ English level is required to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
