We are currently seeking a highly skilled remote Lead Java Developer to join our team and take charge of implementing a completely new microservice with critical business functionality. This headless microservice will be designed with modern technologies and Java microservice architecture. You will be responsible for creating a new microservice with around 60-70 million parts in the database and ensuring data synchronization between Link and the new microservice. If you have strong leadership and architectural skills, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of developers to create a new microservice with critical business functionality Design and develop Java microservices using Spring and REST API Write complex SQL queries to work with large databases Ensure data synchronization between Link and the new microservice Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the new microservice into the existing system Implement industry best practices to ensure high code quality and maintainability Manage the project timeline and ensure timely delivery of milestones Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Developer with strong leadership and architectural skills 1+ years of team leading experience Experience in creating Java microservices using Spring Boot and REST API Comprehensive understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries Familiarity with Kafka for data synchronization Strong database skills and experience working with large databases Excellent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework Excellent communication skills to work in cross-functional teams Nice to have Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration Expertise in software architectures Knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular
