We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation and governance of CI/CD pipelines, automation and cloud infrastructure across hybrid environments.

This role provides technical leadership, ensures best practices in DevOps, and supports the delivery of reliable, scalable solutions for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation and governance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins across multiple teams
Drive infrastructure and configuration automation using Ansible, ensuring reusable, standardized and secure automation practices
Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex Linux and Windows hosted applications and platform issues in build and runtime environments
Define and enforce DevOps standards, best practices and guardrails in collaboration with development, QA and security teams
Oversee pipeline performance, reliability and scalability, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
Guide and review Azure and AKS-based deployments, ensuring alignment with organizational architecture and security standards
Own release orchestration across environments, including planning, execution, approvals and post-release stabilization
Mentor, coach and upskill junior and mid-level engineers, including code reviews, design reviews and knowledge sharing
Act as the primary technical point of contact for DevOps-related initiatives and cross-team dependencies
Communicate clearly with stakeholders across engineering, operations and management
Collaborate with L2 and L3 support teams to extend observability coverage and enhance incident response workflows
Integrate observability insights with ServiceNow and other ITSM tools for unified monitoring and ticket correlation
Drive continuous improvement in MTTD, MTTR and overall system resilience through proactive analysis and optimization
Document observability architecture, dashboards and operational runbooks in Confluence

Requirements

8-13 years of experience in DevOps, system administration or related fields
Expertise in Linux and Windows administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Skills in scripting, process management and automation on Linux-based systems
Proficiency in managing services, scheduled tasks and integrations with CI/CD tools in hybrid environments
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD maturity models and best practices
Advanced competency in Azure DevOps and Jenkins, including pipeline design, management and optimization
Background in configuration management and automation with Ansible, including playbook design and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure core services, security and governance basics
Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes concepts for CI/CD-driven deployments
Capability to support cloud infrastructure through automated pipelines and ensure alignment with security standards
Understanding of observability tools integration with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
