We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with hands-on Supply Chain operational experience. This individual will act as a bridge between software engineering / technology teams and supply chain operations teams, guiding the development of innovative software solutions and leading multiple technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate is a continuous learner, adept at applying emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), fulfilling roles such as Product Owner, Supply Chain Advisor, and Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Guide the design and development of software solutions by providing insights into supply chain operations
Translate operational challenges into technical requirements as a trusted advisor to technology teams
Propose technology-enabled solutions by identifying risks in supply chain processes
Ensure alignment with organizational goals through end-to-end management of supply chain projects
Define project scope, requirements, and deliverables by collaborating with developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders
Optimize project execution by promoting Agile and other project management methodologies
Integrate AI/ML models to enhance supply chain analytics and decision-making
Recommend the adoption of technological advancements in supply chain management
Define product vision and roadmap for supply chain software tools
Prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility, working closely with development teams
Drive process optimization initiatives by leveraging data analytics tools and emerging technologies
Conduct lessons learned sessions post-project completion
Serve as a liaison ensuring clear communication of project goals between business stakeholders and technical teams
Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

8+ years of experience across supply chain operations and technology project management
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations / Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred
A proven track record of managing medium to large-scale technology projects within the supply chain domain
Extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain operations and implementing digital initiatives
Knowledge of global supply chain trends and regulatory requirements
Capability to work independently while managing multiple projects
Dedication to continuous learning and digital savviness
Proactive approach to building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
Familiarity with ways of implementing AI/ML techniques for predictive analytics and modeling in supply chains
Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Jira
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

Knowledge of data analytics tools like Python, R and ERP systems such as SAP
Certifications such as ASCM / APICS CSCP, MIT MicroMasters, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt
AI/ML technology certifications
