We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain to drive requirements gathering, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of insurance processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead complex projects from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of end-to-end requirements gathering sessions and analysis
Engage with senior stakeholders in workshops and meetings to ensure alignment on project goals
Navigate APIs to map attributes, create heatmaps, and derive actionable requirements
Collaborate with teams to write and manage user stories, including acceptance criteria
Manage priorities and deliverables effectively with transparency
Lead key Scrum events such as product backlog refinement, grooming sessions, and PI planning
Develop, document, and manage business requirements using tools like Azure or Jira
Ensure successful execution of projects from the discovery phase to production
Provide business domain expertise in the insurance product development lifecycle
Drive a business development mindset within the project delivery process
Apply a high-level understanding of modern technologies to inform solution design

Requirements

10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in business analysis core areas
Expertise in requirement elicitation, BRD and FRD documentation, and stakeholder management
Proficiency in Azure, Jira, and Microsoft Visio or similar tools
Background in writing user stories with Gherkin format as a plus
Experience in insurance or reinsurance industries, with knowledge of associated product lifecycles
Skills in DevOps, Dynamics 365, and PowerPoint with intermediate proficiency in each
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working on Scrum projects
Business development focus and ability to manage stakeholder expectations

Nice to have

Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master for 1+ year
