Responsibilities

Participate in the design and build of the new UBS Mobile Banking
Code and ship new features to production
Work with external data sources and APIs
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Provide tech solutions and ensure adherence to good software practices
Partner with UX designers, architects, backend development teams, and QA to deliver a high-quality product
Create, manage, and automate continuous testing of the features you deliver
Be part of a strong international team and contribute to the success of Mobile Excellence in UBS

Requirements

7+ years of native Android (Java/Kotlin) development experience
At least 1 year of leadership experience
A graduate degree in IT Software Engineering
Fundamental experience in designing secure, robust, and scalable applications
Positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
Familiarity with design principles
Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git)
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Experience in test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment
A strong software engineer dedicated to app development, demonstrating a high degree of creativity by designing user-friendly applications
A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
A good team player
Analytically skilled person who manages to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
