Junior Functional Tester

Functional Testing, Test Cases Development, Web Service / API Testing

We are seeking a Junior Functional Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems through thorough functional testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases to ensure the functionality and quality of software systems
Conduct web service and API testing to validate system performance and reliability
Collaborate with business users to understand and translate their requirements into test cases
Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies
Work independently and as part of a team to achieve testing objectives
Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
1-2 years of hands-on experience in functional testing
Mandatory experience with Postman and SQL
Nice-to-have experience with IBM ODM
Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices
Experience with different Testing Methodologies and test case creation processes
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
B2+ English level
