This position is relevant for immediate joiners only (should be ready to start by December 1st, 2023) and implies a hybrid work setup. Depending on the project, you will have to spend several days a week in the office. Our offices are currently located in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune, and Chennai.

We are looking for a remote Java Team Lead Developer with at least 9+ years of relevant work experience and 1+ years of relevant leadership experience to lead our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring that coding standards, best practices, and software development guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

Define and develop guidelines, standards, and processes to ensure code quality
Ensure coding standards and other software development best practices are followed
Participate in architecture-related conversations
Conduct code reviews
Assist developers/engineers in resolving key issues
Review design and development plan
Hands-on development of critical components and frameworks
Develop, enhance, and maintain system components
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams
Identify technology issues, resolution, and proactive communication
Identify critical dependencies in advance and work towards resolution.
Monitor and mentor junior members of the team

Requirements

9+ years of relevant work experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Jenkins, K8s, MongoDB
1+ years of leadership experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
Proven experience in designing, developing applications, and APIs
Hands-on technology leadership, preferably full-stack development
Excellent communication and presentation skills
B2+ English level

Nice to have

Experience with JavaScript, React and Azure
Financial Services background will be a plus
Cloud experience will be a plus
Client-facing experience
Structure and organization skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and define structure
