We are seeking a highly skilled Java Development Team Lead with 10+ years of professional experience and 2+ years of leadership and team management experience to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for software enhancements, new feature development, minor bug fixes, security updates, and on-call support (L3 and L4 level). The candidate will also be responsible for integration with the platform at a later stage and creating documentation for architecture, on-call SOPs, and deployment SOPs.

Responsibilities

Develop software enhancements and new features
Perform minor bug fixes and security updates
Provide on-call support (L3 and L4 level)
Integrate with the Uber platform at a later stage
Create documentation for architecture, on-call SOPs, and deployment SOPs
Manage and mentor the team members

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of professional experience
2+ years of leadership and team management experience
5+ years of development experience in Java
Minimum 1+ years of experience in maintaining production software
Individual contributor and should have the ability to get things done without authority
Experience in software reverse engineering and creating artifacts from it
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good knowledge of the Product Software Support and OnCall
B2+ English level

Nice to have

1-2 years of experience in Python and willingness to learn Python
