The Go Language Practice Lead plays a pivotal role to driving the evolution of our Go language discipline framework, ensuring the continuous growth and innovation of our organization.

Advancing the discipline through key pillars such as leadership development and growing technology champions. By optimizing talent acquisition and retention strategies, the Lead ensures a robust talent pipeline of skilled Go engineers. Fostering a strong sense of professional belonging, the Lead cultivates a vibrant Go community, encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Talent development is prioritized through a comprehensive training program aligned with the LevelUp employee journey. Mentorship initiatives creating a structured environment and guidance for learning. As the Go Language Practice Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing key areas within the Go language domain, with a focus on talent acquisition, mentorship, research and development, community engagement, skill excellence, technology transformation, and professional assessment

responsibilities
  • Cultivate a vibrant Go community, fostering a strong sense of professional belonging among Go engineers
    • Drive initiatives that harness the expertise of Go professionals, promoting collaboration and shared knowledge
      • Identify and leverage technology transformation opportunities, including customer adoption and open-source initiatives
        • Contribute to thought leadership, proofs of concept (POCs), and points of view (POVs) to drive innovation within the Go community
          • Develop and implement strategic Talent Identification (TI) processes to attract and retain top-tier Go engineering talent
            • Implement and enhance a comprehensive training program to elevate Go competence and excellence
              • Ensure seamless navigation of skills and training resources for Go professionals, aligning with the LevelUp employee journey
                • Establish and support a training program dedicated to nurturing talent from university graduates to junior professionals
                  • Create a structured and supportive environment for learning and experimentation within the Go language and related technologies
                    • Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration among experienced and junior Go professionals
                      requirements
                      • 18+ years of relevant experience in the IT industry
                        • Extensive experience in the Go language domain
                          • Proven experience in talent acquisition and development
                            • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
                              • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
                                • Experience in solution/system architecture, contributing to technology transformation efforts
                                  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
                                    nice to have
                                    • Experience in delivery management (cloud)
                                      • Experience in incubation, research and development, and consulting areas
                                        • Experience in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives
