We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst - Remediation Specialist to lead efforts in identifying and resolving regulatory reporting gaps across various financial regulations.

This role involves driving remediation projects, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Identify and investigate regulatory reporting gaps and deficiencies across MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, SEC, and CAD obligations
Lead remediation projects to address historical reporting failures and regulatory breaches
Collaborate with technology, operations, and compliance teams to implement sustainable fixes
Ensure timely regulatory submissions and manage backlog clearance and resubmission projects
Conduct root cause analysis for reporting breaks and coordinate with regulators on remediation plans and timelines

Requirements

4-6 years of experience in business analysis and regulatory reporting
Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, and CFTC regulations
Background in Agile methodologies and regulatory reporting
Familiarity with SEC and CAD obligations
Capability to work cross-functionally with technology, operations, and compliance teams
