We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Native Architect to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure solutions using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). Leveraging their extensive knowledge and expertise in AWS services, this individual will play a key role in optimizing our cloud architecture to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS CDK, adhering to best practices and strong security measures
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Java or Python with the AWS CDK
- Migrate code from platforms like Terraform or CFT to AWS CDK
- Participate and contribute in RFI and RFP processes
- Automate platform provisioning extensively utilizing AWS Java CDK
- Develop solutions using serverless and cloud-native services such as Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and KMS
- Automate processes using AWS orchestration tools like Java, CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation
- Handle various data formats including JSON, YAML, dictionaries, files, and file types
- Manage different data types and incorporate loops and conditional statements in development
- Conduct strong unit testing and debugging to maintain code integrity
- Manage Source Code Management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, and AWS CodeCommit
Requirements
- 11 to 18 years of experience in developing and managing AWS cloud platforms and services
- Extensive expertise as a solution architect on multiple cloud platforms
- Proficiency in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Java or Python with AWS CDK
- Strong capability to work in projects demanding transitions from Terraform or CFT to AWS CDK
- In-depth background in automating platform provisioning with AWS Java CDK
- Comprehensive knowledge of serverless and cloud-native services listed above
- Proficiency in AWS orchestration tools such as Terraform, and CloudFormation
- Understanding of managing diverse data formats and data types
- Excellent unit testing and debugging skills
- Experience with Source Code Management tools like AWS CodeCommit, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
